We are now pretty well settled back into life back here in Scotland. Actually, it never seemed like we had gone away. It was so natural and comfortable to come back!
However, coming back home to a 900 ft square house has also reinforced our thoughts that we definitely need a larger place for our family and our ministry to grow in. So, almost as soon as we unpacked, we started looking for a new house. The good news is, we think we have found one. We recently looked at a house that really seems to meet all of our needs as a family and all of our desires to bring some of our ministry into our home. So now, we are starting the huge process of getting our house ready to put on the market and finding a bank that will give us a loan. This will be fun since most banks aren’t giving out loans very readily right now anyway. So when we told the financial advisor that we were missionaries living entirely by faith on support with a very inconsistent income, he looked a bit worried J But hey, aren’t these the times that God proves Himself and His sovereignty over ALL things. Loren Cunningham recently said, “We must learn to view our circumstances through Christ, not Christ through our circumstances.” God is always faithful to His children, and we have no doubt that He will make a way in this situation just as He has in every other circumstance we have ever faced. Will you pray with us in faith that the Lord will make a way for us? Here is a link to the house: http://media.rightmove.co.uk/72k/71551/71551_LA0032_DOC_00_0000.pdf.
Family-wise…… Josiah is back in the village primary school, and really doing well. Haley, Channing and Éireann are all homeschooling and doing really well also. Because of the possibility of moving, Heather and I have been spending most of our free time trying to get our house ready to sell – painting, scraping, fixing, power washing, gardening, and anything else we can do to get our house in order (basically all the projects that we have been planning to do for the past few years). Actually, we might not want to move after we get our house all fixed up J.
Apart from all that, we are considering several new ministry opportunities that have presented themselves to us. Things like Healing Rooms, Light and Life, 24/7 Prayer, after-school basketball club for the village kids, etc…… I also have several different outreach ideas in mind for my teams up in the Highlands and Islands. The exciting thing is that God is really on the move in Scotland these days, and there is an incredible sense that it is literally just a matter to time before there is a real outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this nation. Read our next entry for some of the things that have been happening just in the past few weeks here in our area!
We are also currently praying about which church to attend. During the time we were away, our church closed down and amalgamated with the other Church of Scotland in the village. We had felt that God said we would be coming back to something new but don't know if this is necessarily the one He means. So we have been visiting others in the area and praying that He would speak clearly to show us where we should be. We would appreciate your prayers about this!

Hey dear friends,
Sorry I haven't communicated until now. I had to smile at all of those crates out in the yard. I am glad to see everything made it. Life for me has been overwhelmingly busy...but what's new. I need to get on to my lesson planning but I wanted to tell you that I think of you often and we MISS you. Hannah lit up the other day when a lady mentioned Scotland. She said, "I have friends who live in Scotland!" Love you all! Ginny
p.s. I will pray for God to lead you to your new home and your new church home.
